Frozen french fries left in trunk of my car, are they still good?
Last night (9:30 PM) I got home from the grocery store and brought in what I thought was all of my bags. Tonight I went to make some fries and noticed the bag was not in my freezer, I checked my trunk and sure enough, there was the last bag with my fries in it. Well, when I was bringing it from the car to the house, I noticed that the fries seemed completely thawed out, and even rather warm. I'm debating now whether or not I should attempt to throw them in the freezer and try to cook them later, or just chuck them and buy a new bag. They were in there for exactly 24 hours, and the bag was completely sealed, but I'm not sure what to do in this case, since it's a vegetable and not something I'd automatically throw out (like meat or ice cream). What should I do?
