I'd go to the ER. It's more of a one shot deal. If there is a chance of a break they will send you for x-rays, etc and then someone at the hospital would need to fit you with a cast which would take more time then if you went to the ER in the first place. Either way it will take a while so bring a book or something else that will keep you occupied.

Hi all, if you remember my posting from Feb 1rst you'll know that I was verbally abusing the love of my life without realizing it. He walked out on me on January 31rst after 2 years. Since then we have been on the phone every single day practically having 3 to 4 hour discussions/spats to the wee hours of the morning. He says he can't say we won't reunite in the future but for now he's working on himself and tending to neglected business. He also spent many hours venting making sure I was clear on the hundreds of ways I hurt him and broke his spirit. He is very sensitive and intelligent and I respect him more now than I have showed in the past. I always respected him because he is an awesome man but my anger would overtake my common sense back then. I have since then taken my situation very seriously seeking weekly counseling and spiritual istance to rid myself of the horrible 'Angry' spirit that has shook my home life to it's core. Initially, me ex fiance (he is a guy and I am the woman) would not allow me to see him. He said my physical presence made him feel awful and many other mean things (I cried but I couldn't blame him). About 10 days later he finally saw me once and told me he was not coming back. I cried for hours, he just stood there asking me to go home. He stayed on the phone with me all night that night. I didn't contact him at all for a week or so, then I called to ask about canceling the cell phone account we have together (he asked for this after the break up). Suddenly, he said he wants to pay the bill for now so I said okay, he said he will cut it off next month. He is to give the money on Thursday. I am very confused but I am following his lead. Now it seems we have managed to come past the extreme emotional part of this break up because after an all night argument night before last (him scolding me about how I treated him) he decided to come back home for something yesterday morning (he has nothing here and took all of his clothes the week after the break up)... he claimed he had something here (we both new that wasn't true). I let him in and we chatted briefly, we hugged and he held me and smelled me for what seemed like forever and soon after ended up in several ual situations. Following the he got up and played some music he wanted me to hear while I got dressed. It was very nice and peaceful. We drove out and had a quick lunch then I dropped him off to the relative's home where he is now staying (he took the day off from work). We had an awesome hour and a half together. We even held hands for a minute. I touched him a lot and was grateful that he finally let me. My question is, I know he has not finished working through his emotions and neither have I, but is it possible that we could get back together at some point? I am so sad without him and I am in repentance mode and am in the serious process of learning to correct my horrible verbal abuse and fits of anger where I slap, hit, kick and punch. I AM VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS. I cannot express that enough. Of the 2 years we were together, I hit him 4 times and cannot believe that I was such an awful person verbally as well (when I was angry) like Jekyll and Hyde.. Other times I was a loving, caring, resourceful and fun filled spirited mom and fiance (so weird looking at it now). I have changed my life drastically over these 4 weeks and I wonder if he can tell. He says he will see me on Thursday to pay his cell phone bill that we share together and that was about it. What can I do if anything to get him back so we can continue to build our otherwise really great relationship or friendship (or I should say, have a second time around new relationship) I really can't believe we finally saw one another, had , drove for a while and had a quick lunch. I know I some may conclude that I didn't deserve that and that might be true. I didn't mention anything about getting back together but I showed in my actions that I missed him and I asked him many times before to please come home. I'm glad he didn't and especially glad that he had the courage to walk away from me so I could face my demons and deal with myself. It was the best thing he could have ever done for me to make me see the extent of my error. He knows I want him back and says he loves me like no other. I need your advice now. I know the longer we're apart the higher the risk of him meeting someone new but what can I do if anything and please describe to me what you think about his behavior, does he seem to be forgiving me? Thank you guys... I really want my family back together.

You need to install more RAM and install another hard drive, external hard drives may work. Or you can dump it if you have a recovery disk. I would recommend actually getting another computer. Both my children and my husband (obviously an hereditary thing) cannot stand the smell of vinegar when they have colds, flu, anything that affects their sense of smell I guess. This means they cannot eat anything containing vinegar. It also puts them off anything malted or with yeast in as that gives off a similiar smell. Makes for a very bland diet indeed. Why are kids in a rush to grow up?

Well, I'm not American so this might have something to do with it. I grew up in Europe but I have lived here for 10 years. When I was a child, and a teenager, we didn't wear makeup. We didn't date. We played with toys and dolls and we played outside. Kids 6 years old and 16 years old would still play together There was no drinking age and kids didn't drink regardless. Kids ages 16 and 17 still believed in Santa Claus (the story's a little different in my country) And people didn't rush college, dating, and marriage onto them. Kids also looked much younger. What happened? Personally, life should be slower paced. Think about it. You spend the least amount of time in your childhood. You will be an adult your whole life. Why rush the best and most carefree years (hopefully they are carefree; at least compared to the worries an adult has).Also, kids here don't seem to have respect for authority and their elders and parents. I just wonder why things have to be this way.

Can having Diabetes and MRSA kill me?

I have Type 1 Diabetes and it is pretty poorly controlled. I just got out of DKA. I also have MRSA, and it seems to never go away for very long. I'm allergic to what the doctors say is the best way to treat it (Vancomycin), and practically immune to most other antibiotics they've prescribed to treat it (Bactrim, etc.). I want to know what the chances of me dying from this really are. I'm 18, I have a pretty nonexistent immune system, and I have two abscesses from the infection right now. The doctors tell me how it can "be harmful" and everything, but since I'm so young, they always beat around the bush. I've been fighting health issues my whole life so I know I'm strong enough to handle the truth, and I think that if someone could honestly tell me about all of this, it'll force me to take better care of this. Frozen french fries left in trunk of my car, are they still good?

Last night (9:30 PM) I got home from the grocery store and brought in what I thought was all of my bags. Tonight I went to make some fries and noticed the bag was not in my freezer, I checked my trunk and sure enough, there was the last bag with my fries in it. Well, when I was bringing it from the car to the house, I noticed that the fries seemed completely thawed out, and even rather warm. I'm debating now whether or not I should attempt to throw them in the freezer and try to cook them later, or just chuck them and buy a new bag. They were in there for exactly 24 hours, and the bag was completely sealed, but I'm not sure what to do in this case, since it's a vegetable and not something I'd automatically throw out (like meat or ice cream). My wife has filed for divorce and asked the court to consider our house as sole and separate property because she received a inheritance from her father before we bought the house. But prior to receiving the inheritance she made an agreement in writing stating that she was gifting me half of the inheritance. She now says she is withdrawing that agreement and wants all of our ets we purchased with those funds considered separate property. Can she do this? I have operated on the umption that the ets we purchased would be community property? After the agreement the money was placed in an account that we were both signers on and we are both on the deed to this house as well as our other ets. I feel like I am being robbed by her since she did not work for the last two years of our marriage and I solely supported her because she made excuses as to why she could not work. She says that even if the judge grants me half she intends to ask for spousal support as well. And we have no children from this marriage as well as the fact that she left months ago and gave me guardianship of her daughter.

I have some chickens and I can't figure out why they aren't laying like they should.?

I have a flock of 40 Rhode Island Red hens. I got them this past spring and I don't know why they aren't laying eggs. I am only getting about 7 eggs a day. They are in a pole shed where they do get some sun exposure. I am feeding them the same fed that I fed chickens from past years. The diet consists of 5 scoops cracked corn, 1 scoop 16% poultry layer, one tin can of oyster shells per 5 gal. bucket. I feed around half a 5 gal. pail per day. I do chores about 3:00 in the afternoon. I have been raising chickens for years so I don't know what is happening. Any insight from people with experience would be appreciated. Thank you

Ok Ok.....so I know this sounds very strange, especially coming from a 22yrold woman/girl, but.....I am oddly enough OBSESSED with Heath Ledger now. I can't say I was back when he was alive, I always thought he was hot, but I never spent hours watching his interviews, going opening night to see his latest film, or reading all about him! I can not stop this fascination I have with him, and everywhere I turn these days I am either seeing a picture of him or hearing his name, either through the media or through friends/family/coworkers. I have this crazed fasination with him, and I can't come to grips with the fact that he is no longer alive. It's so surreal. From a guy's perspective I say that they don't want to embarr themselves in the hallways. It's like alter egos...I mean I'm a guy and i know when girls just want to say hi or smile like you said. Can't sleep at night anymore... ghost?

We just moved into a new house a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to sleep at all. :/ I believe this house is haunted. I hear noises all the time, and the floor creaks and I was downstairs once and I heard the floor creak. People call my name when no one else is home. Its cold ALL the time, and things dissapear and then reappear. I haven't been able to sleep at all. It feels like someone is standing beside my bed... watching me. You might be eligible for a scholarship, but quit trying to build a CV! The admissions people can tell you're just building a CV, all the applicants to Ivy League schools are doing that. Just really put a lot of effort into something you really care about and write some stellar essays for the admissions process. Honestly though, make sure you apply to some good cheaper schools as well because Ivy League schools are very competitive.

Uriah, Bj, GSP, Fedor, and Anderson would all beat Royce in his prime. Royce is a great fighter and has done more for MMA than anyone else but the fighters of today are just much more evolved and better at all aspects. Bj would beat Royce on the ground since Bj is a world champ at BJJ and Royce is not. Uriah is basically a smaller version of Matt Hughes except is better all around. Uriah has choked a BJJ black belt in one of his fights and Jeff had Uriahs back for an entire round and couldn't catch Uriah in the choke. Uriahs BJJ, wrestling and standup is up there with the best of them. GSP would win because he has great takedowns and takedown defense so any hope of Royce winning the fight would go out the window. If GSP took it to the ground, GSP's BJJ is great and would probably overwhelm Royce with a submission or strikes. Fedor has submitted many top grapplers so Royce wouldn't have a chance since hes not a top grappler. Anderson is just as good on the ground and has much better striking. I love watchin Royce kick some *** but his day is over, the fighters are on a whole nother level now.

Why would my periods stop at 27?

hello, i am 27 years old and reasonably healthy. i wondered if anyone would know of a reason why my periods would stop. i am not pregnant, i have tested at home and at the doctors. i have had a lot of hormone blood tests and there is no sign of early menopause or thyroid issues all the function tests came back ok. i had raised platelets and i have to repeat the blood test next week. i dont know what this means and if anyone can help me out there, please do. my menstral cycle has always been heavy and very painful, i have been diagnosed when i was 17 with menorrhea, which explains the pain but it has never caused me to stop before. i have a daughter who is 6 and thing have been normal after her birth until 5 months ago. the only other health issues that i have is alopecia areta ( bald patches) on the scalp. i was told it could be stress with the alopecia and the periods but although i have lost my job, i am happy and debt free and under no pressure to find employment as i can afford everything i need to pay. i feel positivly carefree infact so personally i dont think stress is an issue. can anyone help? thanks for reading.

Our government is still of the people, by the people, and for the people. (Well at least when it benefits the politician) The electoral college is supposed to listen to what the people say, but look at it this way. If a bunch of people walk into their polling place with no sense of who they are voting for, and who the candidate is or anything, and they vote for that person even if they would be a disaster, the electoral college will make the decision that is best for the country based on the people's voice and vote. Does it always work out like it should? Well I think the 2000 election is a good example of the flop that we experienced from the electoral college.
