How much propane is being used with pilot running on a gas fireplace?

i work at a fireplace shop and i always get the question how much propane will be used when leaving pilot on during the summer. i cant really answer that question because i dont know. or anybody here. so is there a graph to go by? with a unit thats 10,000 btu's to one that is 50,000?
