My husband doesn't believe in creationism..how do I convince him?

We are both Christians, but we're on completely different sides on the spectrum. He actually believes in the theory of evolution, rejects creationism, supports gay marriages, supports abortion rights, etc...and I'm almost the exact opposite of him. I told him why believe at all if you're just going to believe in very watered-down Christianity, and he said because Christianity is about love and not about believing in a whole bunch of non-scientific nonsense. I think he's COMPLETELY missing the point!! What should I do to convince him? How does he believe that Jesus rose from the grave but not believe that he created the world?
