Who would make a great modern Atticus Finch?

For me, a possible remake of To Kill A Mockingbird is out of the question. No one can replicate Gregory Peck's knock-out and clic performance. But if they were to do a remake...who on earth could possibly portray the awesomeness that is Atticus Finch? (And think a little outside of the box...don't go for the obvious like 'Tom Hanks').
