How does the Judicial Branch of government affect our society?

The Judicial Branch of the Federal government is the Supreme Court of the United States and the various Federal District courts. The decide pretty much what is Constitutional and what is not. The Judiciary interprets law. The Legislature makes law. The Executive branch signs laws or rejects them.
